I am Robert “BOB” Anstett. I am the Coordinator for Digital Initiatives for Broward County Libraries. I am the coordinator of the Creation Station at Main Library in Fort Lauderdale as well as Creation Station Business and other creative spaces around Broward County. I like to say that I “live in the future” where I get to work with 3D printing, creative design, hands on maker projects and robotics. I am currently organizing and running a robotics track for the public to learn coding and building robots, as well as a Virtual Reality (VR) track & Augmented Reality (AR) gear such as a Microsoft HoloLens and Magic Leap available for the public to try out and develop on. I work at building connections with the local community and the library, along with with fostering cooperation between libraries around the State of Florida and beyond.
If you are interested in having me come out to give a talk or do a webinar for your group about Creation Station topics such as 3D printing, Maker Spaces, Virtual Reality, etc., please email me on the contact page here. It is what I do for Broward County Libraries outreach, so there is never any cost.
